Proper posture is important for a number of reasons, including that it places your body in an alignment where the stress on supporting ligaments, tendons and muscles is limited. Poor posture affects over 100 joints & dozens of muscles, can cause pain, poor circulation, negative mood, digestion issues, & increased stress also leading to discomfort and injury.
In order to live a long, healthy, pain free life, correct posture (or body neutral) is the number one thing to learn and get right!
It is vital to prevent injury at work, whether you sit at a desk, or do more manual type work.
