Northam Exercise Program

Exercise and Sport Science Australia not only considers exercise safe during and after cancer treatment but also recommends participating in regular exercise due to a number of significant benefits.

The Life Now Exercise Program is for people undergoing cancer treatment, or completed treatment in the last 2 years, and their carers.  The program runs for 12 weeks, for an hour session twice a week, and is facilitated by a qualified Exercise Physiologist.  Each participant has an individualised program designed for them by the Exercise Physiologist, but the group attends the sessions together.  The Life Now Exercise Program is tailor made for people affected by cancer.  Participants experience the benefits in a safe & supportive environment.

There may be a once-off fee for your initial assessment with the Exercise Physiologist.  This is dependent on your GP & private health care fund. Participants can attend the program for a maximum of 12 weeks.
